afrabia: is it a mere intellectual fascination

The Kenyan political scientist and novelist and poet Ali Mazrui has published many books. In this article he talks about the size of the continent Africa. When we look at a map we see clearly the borders of the continent.

Mazrui writes about changes to these fixed borders. Should the Arab world of the Middle East (or Near East) belong to the continent Africa? There is common history and language and religion. Have a good look at the thoughts of Mazrui.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
