china in africa

Earlier today we followed in the footsteps of the travelwriter Lieve Joris who traveled to and fro between Africa and China to find out about the human contacts between these two entities. And to find out about commerce.

Now you have the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of the Chinese Sam Pa (or maybe you know him by another name). He is making deals all over Africa for Chinese companies and the government. It makes an interesting read. You need some stamina, but the long journey is worthwhile.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
