damon galgut discusses the weird

Here is another interview. Always good to have  a discussions with a writer. This time it is the South African writer Damon Galgut, who started his writing a a very young age. He talks about this start but also his relation with that other writer E.M. Forster who went on a passage to India in the old days. Galgul also travelled to India, years later. He followed the footsteps of Forster and wrote about it in his book ‘Arctic Summer’ (2014).

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
