here are four simple habits

Austin Bukenya has some good advice for aspiring writers. One suggestion he has is: write. This sounds very simple, but your aspiration has to be turned into action. Just start. And reread. And correct. And cross out completely and start all over again. 

Another thought is: read. A lot of reading of good books is a help in understanding good writing..
