academe’s willful ignorance

I am happy to announce the reply to the earlier article written by Wai Chee Dimock, the professor of English and American Studies at Yale University (USA). She felt compelled to write a few words about African Literature.

The reply is written by Aaron Bady, who knows a thing or two about African Literature. Maybe he on his own knows more about African Literature than the selecting committee of Yale University, that was looking for a professor in Anglophone World Literature.

Just take your time to read and brush up your knowledge.
Maybe you can be the next professor at Yale !

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
