eritrea: 14th national book fair

The name of the small country Eritrea does not spring to my mind when I think about African Literature. I think of the difficult political situation, the number of people fleeing the country, but a ‘national book fair’?

Yes, number 14 was on the line. The article I will refer you to is a bit confusing. At first I thought the festival was opened and closed on the same day, but I discovered the festival for 10 days. Well, have a look for yourself.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
