It is no surprise that this Nigerian newspaper draws our attention to the achievement of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. She has reached the shortlist for the 20th International IMPAC DUBLIN Literary Award. Her book ‘Americanah’has been put on the shortlist.
But she is not the only writer from Africa on the list. A closer look will reveal the name of the Moroccon author Mahi Binebine. His contribution to the list has been translated from the French and has received the name ‘H0rses of God’.
In all ten books have been put on the list and the winner takes all: £100,000.
