musings of a wanderer

The shock about the outburst of xenophobia has not passed by, it is still lingering on. I posted an Open letter bij Mia Couto, a reply by the president of South Africa, Binyavanga from Kenya added his voice. Now Zukiswa Wanneer from South Africa (but with a multi-background) and living in Nairobi adds her voice. We need many voices and we need politicians to take a stand.

It is not just xenophobia, but also deprivation and social inequality.

Zukiswa Wanner is a South African journalist and novelist currently living in Nairobi.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
