The people came together in a hotel in Asmara (Eritrea) to attend a booklaunch. To be honest when I hear the name ‘Eritrea’  I do not at first think about booklaunches, but I think about the difficult human rights situation, I think about so many young people that leave the country in search of greener pastures. 

This new book, written by Habtom Kitane, is about young people in Eritrea. He has taken the period of 1890 – 1962. This year 1962 is the year that the Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie dissolved the Eritrean parliament and annexed the country.
