Here you can listen to the Zimbabwean poet Bernard Matambo, who reads part of his poem ‘Diallo’. This poem was written in memory of a man who was shot in New York, The man was Amadou Diallo.

Matambo is one of those poets and writers from somewhere in Africa who teach at an American University. He is interviewed by Lawrence Pollard, BBC.
