the night christopher okigbo

Ali Mazrui (from Kenya) wrote a novel ab0ut the trial of Christopher Okigbo (Nigeria). Should a writer take up his pen or take up his gun?

Okigbo died in 1967 while fighting on the Biafran side in the Nigerian civil war.

He has been remembered on what would have been his 83rd birthday

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
