Iquo DianaAbasi Eke  is a young writer from the West African country Nigeria. She has diversified for she writes poetry and prose. Next to that she is involved in writing scripts. She wrote a collection of poems titled “Symphony of Becoming”.

Iquo DianaAbasi Eke writes prose, poetry and scripts for radio and screen. She often performs her poems with a touch of culture-rich Ibibio folklore. Her first collection of poems, Symphony of Becoming, was shortlisted for the NLNG Nigeria prize for literature, and the ANA poetry prize; both in 2013. An avid student of human nature, Iquo’s writing explores socially cognizant themes, pain, love, womanhood and indeed the trials of the griots of this age. She has performed on different platforms across Nigeria, and her fiction appears in a number of online journals, and print anthologies.
