it’s child abuse to neglect

I think the authors of this article are overstating their point when thy talk about children’s literature and child abuse. In many countries good books for children, in a literary sense, are available. Next to that I think it is not right to state that a lack of children’s literature is a form of child abuse. Maybe many readers of the article of these writers were raised without specific children’s literature and they succeeded in growing up without any scars due to this matter.
