a proud witness

Zukiswa Wanner had been invited last month to come to Witwatersrand University in South Africa. The purpose was twofold. To launch a book by Panashe Chigumadzi and to attend a colloquium. When she arrived things had changed and students were on the move through the streets and the political institutions. Zukiswa was a witness and she writes about it.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
