adieu à fatema mernissi, la shéhérazade marocaine

I have a few books by her on my shelves, but this is the first time that I have dedicated a post to her. This has come at a crucial time. The Moroccan writer Fatema Mernissi (1940 – 2015) has passed away. She has written on the position of women, especially with the context of islam.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
