disenchantment and a hint of nostalgia

On Tuesday afternoon I walked to the local library. I had read that this week there would be a sale of discarded books. Always a good opportunity to get books for a low price. I walked home with eight books, all from writers from the African continent.

One of these writers is the Moroccan Abdellah Taïa. The next day an interview with this writer was published on a website. You have your chance to read an interview for no price at all.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
