egypt shuts down novelist alaa al-aswany

It is part of the job of a dentist to silence his patient who sits in the reclining chair. The patient has to listen and to be silent, for the dentist does not want to be bit.

Now an Egyptian dentist has been silenced. The Egyptian government does not want to be bit by this dentist, who doubles as a writer.

The name of the dentist cum writer is Alaa al-Aswany. This writer was not silent about the recent developments in Egypt. He wanted to give a public seminar, but the men and women who secure the country told him the seminar was not to be.
