writing books as a woman is challenging – djevwudu

It seems that women writers have a special handicap, at least that I understood from the Nigerian Vickie Djevwudu. She has written a book on aviation in Nigeria. She has said that in the process of writing a woman writer has to combine family, work and others. It is not clear to me who the others are. Husband, father, mother, neighbour?

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
