Jared Angira: How I became an economic refugee in America

The poet clearly remembers the heady days of the former president Moi. He decided to leave Kenya to escape from the reign of Moi, who did not like people who did not follow in his footsteps.

These days Jared Angira lives in the United States of America, In Seattle he spends his days and woks and writes poetry, just like he did in the past. Maybe one day he will return to his beloved Kenya.
