Publishers deny hiking price

One of the hot issues in the world of books is not just the quality of the content but also the quantity of the price. How affordable are books for the average citizen? How much is an author able to earn form his or her creative outburst?

In some countries the VAT is low, in others higher? Is there a role for governments to make books available for a larger, very large section of the population? In Kenya some discussions started about the price of books and the role of publishing houses. Read about it here
