PEN America Enlists Writers to Urge Egypt’s Leader to Free Author

The situation of the Egyptian writer Ahmed Naji has drawn the attention of the outside world. The PEN USA organization has taken action by supporting the jailed writer by writing an Open Letter underwritten by many famous writers, not just from the United States, but from many other countries as well.
