Chimamanda’s “Americanah” wins New York book contest

The citizens of this town could vote for a book, a book that in their opinion should be read by as many people as possible.  And preferably all at the same time.  In the merry month of February the vote was cast and the result is the book ‘Americanah’, written by the Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The book was published in 2013 but it still attracts new readers.
