Crime Writers

One of the popular forms of the literary books is crime writing. Not all crime writing deserves the name of literature, but many writers do reach a high standard in their writing.

In this program of the BBC we meet two crime writers, one of them is the South African Angela Makholwa, who wrote her Red Ink as her debut, and she moved on after her debut with two more novels.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
