Alain Mabanckou is one the most prolific writers from the African country.  Not just prolific but also an outstanding writer. In 1966 he was born in Congo, he studied in France and he now teaches in Los Angeles, the Place of Angels, in the United States of America.

He has been shortlisted for the 2017 Man Booker International Prize for his book Black Moses. Here you will find an excerpt of his book.
