Prof Chimera: It is the season of harvest for Kiswahili in the region

What is the main languages of literature in Africa? Many books are written in English, French, Arabic, Afrikaans, all languages that have their origin outside our continent.  What is the impact of the local languages on our literary works? In this interview professor Rocha Chimera talks about the use of the language (ki)Swahili. Maybe also a language influenced by the foreign Arabic language.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
