The author Alain Mabackou was born in the Congo with its capital city Brazzaville. He has lived and studied in France, he teaches at the moment in the United states of America. He has not forgotten the situation where he came from. He expects changes in several African Countries south of the Sahara. From a distance he is part of the change, he uses social media with the hashtag #RevolutionbassinduCongo. Read more about his convictions here
