Many books are being published in Africa. Countries like Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya are at the forefront of publishing. But what about Cameroon? It is a small neighbour next to Nigeria. 

In Cameroon we find the publisher Langaa. In its ten years of existence it published 500 books. This publishing house want to put onto pages the many different African worldviews. The people behind Langaa want to contribute to the evolution of mankind by putting forward African worldviews, for they assume that these African worldviews can and will contribute to the development of mankind. As a result of this the publishing houde publishes in the fields of social sciences and humanities.
