The university in the French town Montpellier is preparing for a conference in the month of March 2018. The topic will be the relationship between African literature and the press. The university still needs some papers on this topic. 

The relationship between the African literature and the press works both ways. Were writers influenced by what they read in the press, in magazine, in colonial information? Were magazine influenced by books by African writers? What kind of magazines were a vehicle for giving exposure to African writers?
