The educational system is an important player in the field of literacy, next to the home situation. Schools need books and books come from publishers. So the publishers have an important task in providing good schoolbooks for all those young (and old) pupils and students. When a schoolsystem changes, there needs to be a fast reaction from the publishers by providing new textbooks.
