UNL ‘African Digital Portal’ will give students access to African poetry, artifacts

The world of literature is not confined to paper. The digital world is playing an important role, just think of e-books. The internet plays an important role as well in the field of collecting data on African literature and all things pertaining to it. 

Kwame DawesKwame Dawes, English professor at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, is focusing on the field of African poetry. Next year there will be an extensive database for African poetry and artefacts. This is an important development for in this way students from all over the world will have access to important sources.
