Things Fall Apart@60: Why we’re celebrating in 11 African countries

It must have been one the first books that I have read coming from the continent. The now classic ‘Things fall apart’ but the Nigerian writer Chinua Achebe. He wrote about a society falling apart due to outside influences. Now the novel is celebrating its 60th birthday. A landmark in Nigerian and African literature. Read more about it here.
