Not very long ago the South African journalist Jacques Pauw wrote an explosive book on the political situation in South Africa. His book was on the protective circle round (former) president Jacob Zuma and is titled ‘The President’s Keepers’.  

President Zuma has stepped down and now the home of the writer has been raided by the Hawks. The Hawks is the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation (DPCI) and its field of working includes organized crime and corruption and other non-legal activities.
