Ugandan author wins one of world’s most lucrative literary prizes

Jennifer Nansubuga Makumbi, author of "Kintu."  It has been a slow journey to get to the place she has earned for herself through her hard work and determination. She wrote Kintu and she sought a publisher. Finally a Kenyan publisher came forwards and the journey continued. Now Jennifer has been awarded a prestigious literary prize.
