BY THE BOOK: Farrah Bhaijee

Farrah Bhaijee is the founder of Kahawa Mombasanii, a Mombasa-based blog that follows her journey in handling a full-time job while trying to build a media empire. She resides in Mombasa, the ancient coastal city in Kenya. A port with strong ties to far away places. Sailors come and go, dhows find a place a shelter. In this bustling city Farrah Bhaijee lives and works and writes and makes videos. In this article she tells about the books and the writers that thus far have accompanied her in life. And I suspect she loves to drink a strong coffee.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
