The Hundred Wells Of Salaga: An Excerpt

Image: Cassava Republic Press . There is a need for pre-colonial topics in African literature. I think this important. Recently I read The Triangle by the Ugandan author Nakisanze Segawa. From the other side of the continent we now have The hundred wells of Salaga, by the writer Ayesha Harruna Attah. This book is set in the days of slavery. In this article you will find an excerpt of this book.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
