Jeffrey Ahlman, “Living with Nkrumahism: Nation, State, and Pan-Africanism in Ghana”

Ghana was one of the first countries in Africa did was able to dispose of the colonial yoke. Kwame Nkrumah became the president of the independent Ghana. 

Jeffrey Ahlman (assistent professor of History at Smith College in the USA) researched this period in early Ghana and he wrote a book about it. In this interview he talks about his book and his findings.
