‘I Read Morning, Night and in Between

The Nigerian writer Chigozie Obioma used to play soccer with all his life. Sneaking out of his parental home to join the boys in the neighborhood. One day he came home, having caught malaria and his body ached. He was admitted at a nearby hospital. His father came and told him a story, now the flame in his most inner being was kindled. 

In this essay he recounts his journey.
