Celebrate World Read Aloud Day with Nal’ibali on February 1

Many centuries ago reading was equal to reading out loud. It seems that the African Saint (354 – 430) was one of the first to read silently. To many reading quietly in a corner is the real world of reading. Reading out loud happens nowadays when an adult reads to children. On February 1 there is an opportunity to read out loud. Read about it here and use your voice.

I enjoy reading about Africa. New books. Old books. By African writers. By non-African writers. Novel. History. Travel. Biographies. Autobiographies. Politics. Colonialism. Poetry.
