A writer is a communicator. So it is apt that a telecommunications firm, Etisalat, will have a literary prize. Another longlist for another literary prize. This time Etisalat has made known the longlist. A very heavy [presence of Nigeria and South Africa, with one exception a writer from the Democratic Republic of Congo: “Fiston Mwanza Mujila”.
Travelling is not restricted to the space within the borders of Africa. Fiston Mwanza Mujila was born in Congo (1981), he studies in the Austrian city of Graz and he has meeting engagements in the Boston area in the United States of America. He has written poetry and prose as well as plays.
